Tenun Ikat is one of Indonesia kriya tenun, where it is made by weft strands which tied previously and dipped into natural dyes.
Tool used in stitch tenun is hand made not using machine. Here the traditional tricks to give pettern on the weft : first, before be woven, the weft strands wrapped with rope plastic suit with the design. When it dipped into natural dyes, part of the weft whicj already wrapped doesn’t colored.
